Join us for the 2nd Annual CureNFwithJack KDW Charity Fishing Tourney! 

Last year, we were met with some hostile seas, but that didn't keep a few brave vessels from charting their course & reeling those big fish in.  This year, we're looking forward to a beautiful day filled with friends, fun, and fishing!

Will our reigning champ, Pat Kelly, snag the biggest fish again this year?  Only you can come out and stop him!  Sign up before September 30 and you qualify for the discounted Early Bird Registration Fee. 

Captains and crew will join us Friday, October 11 at Frigates Restaurant for a night of revelry before we take the high seas Sunday, October 13 to battle it out for that $1,500 cash prize pot! 

Don't want to fish?  That's fine by us - make sure you join us for the Silent Auction and Awards Presentation on Sunday from 1:30-4:30 PM at Sailfish Marina.  There are some amazing goodies for you to bid on and make your mark in ending NF.

CureNFwithJack (CNFWJ) is a 501c3 organization whose mission is to find an effective treatment or cure for neurofibromatosis (NF) through the funding of research. By accelerating NF medical research, driving community action, and expanding fundraising efforts, CNFWJ hopes to create a world where NF no longer exists.

NF causes tumors to grow anywhere in the body, including the brain and spinal cord. It can cause a wide range of symptoms due to both the effects of the disorder and from tumor growth, and can be life-threatening. NF is one of the most common neurogenetic disorders - affecting 1 out of every 3,000 births – and is more prevalent than cystic fibrosis, inherited muscular dystrophy, Huntington’s disease, and Tay Sachs combined. 

Like so many, we hadn’t heard of NF until a little boy close to our hearts, Jack Burke, was diagnosed with this terrible disorder. We decided that the status quo was not acceptable, and CNFWJ’s tumor-fighting board was created. With Jack’s help, CNFWJ has encouraged thousands of people across the country previously unfamiliar with NF to learn, donate and spread awareness about NF so that the dream of a cure or effective treatment can be realized for the millions worldwide who suffer from this disorder.
